The Phocealys fire-retardant spray for artificial plants is specially designed to protect your artificial plants and synthetic decorative elements against fire risks. Invisible after application, non-toxic and easy to use, it ensures optimal fire safety, particularly in public-access buildings (ERP).

Instructions for use

Ensure the surface is raw, untreated, clean and dry.
Shake the bottle before use, then spray onto the surface to be treated. Use the product in a ventilated environment, with gloves, mask and goggles.

To determine the volume required for fireproofing your creation, start by estimating the surface area of the artificial plants to be treated. Then multiply this area by the coefficient 0.25 (1 liter of product can treat approximately 4 m²). Example: 0.5m² to cover → 0.5 × 0.25 = 0.125 L required.

The result corresponds to the number of liters to use to ensure effective protection. Strict compliance with this guideline is essential to guarantee official M1 classification.

Allow to dry between 12h and 72h depending on temperature and humidity. Slight fiber shrinkage is normal.
Once applied, the product leaves a slight glossy finish.

Characteristics

This product complies with the French M1 standard, meaning it is classified as “non-flammable” according to fire reaction regulations (NF P92-507). This standard is recognized as one of the most demanding in the world.

In Europe, it is generally accepted that the M1 classification has an equivalent within the European rating system corresponding to Euroclass B-s1, d0. However, Phocealys would like to draw your attention to the fact that this equivalence is not official. As is often the case with standards, interpretation depends on the relevant safety commission. For all your projects, it is essential to obtain prior approval from the safety commission responsible for fire safety regulations before installing your vegetal creation.

General recommendations

Never mix with water.
Storage temperature: minimum 15°C.
Do not expose to temperatures above 50°C / 122°F.
Shake well before each use.
Protect from frost.
Pressurized container: may burst if heated.
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and all other sources of ignition.
Use only in a well-ventilated area.
Protect from sunlight.
Do not use for any purpose other than that intended.
Shelf life: 24 months in its original sealed packaging.
