Description

Natural Dried Platispernum – A graphic and authentic touch for your creations

Original and naturally decorative, dried Platispernum stands out for its distinctive shape reminiscent of a small pine cone and its raw, textured appearance. The fruit of a coniferous tree, it is an ideal decorative element for bringing texture, character and authenticity to floral and botanical arrangements.

With fruits measuring approximately 2 to 4 cm in diameter, Platispernum offers a more delicate format than many other decorative dried fruits. Each piece is mounted on a rigid wooden stem measuring approximately 50 to 60 cm, making it easy to incorporate into creations of varying heights.

A natural element ideal for dried bouquets

Thanks to its long stems and natural brown colour, Platispernum on a stem fits beautifully into country-inspired, autumnal, bohemian and contemporary arrangements.

It can be used:

  • alone in a vase, for a minimalist and graphic decoration;
  • in a dried flower bouquet, to add texture and contrast;
  • in arrangements combining different shapes and textures;
  • in botanical frames and green walls, by removing the fruit from its stem;
  • to create seasonal decorations inspired by forests and nature.

For a harmonious arrangement, combine it with pampas grass, Lagurus or Broom Bloom. Mixing these different textures makes it possible to create beautifully natural and sophisticated dried bouquets.

A raw texture that brings character to your creations

The distinctive character of natural dried Platispernum lies in its structure, formed by fine overlapping layers. Its irregular, textured appearance can resemble a pine cone, tree bark or even porous stone, creating an eye-catching botanical trompe-l'œil effect.

Its relatively flat base also makes it suitable for botanical creations requiring glued elements, such as frames, botanical pictures and wall decorations. This allows florists, decorators and event professionals to experiment with volumes, textures and materials.

General recommendations

Dried flowers require minimal maintenance. Phocealys advises you :

  • Do not expose your dried flowers directly to the sun, as direct exposure could damage the colour of your bouquets
  • To remove dust from your dried bouquets, wipe them lightly with a cloth to avoid damaging them. You can also use a hairdryer, as long as the air is cold and you do not blow too close to the bouquet

If you follow these tips, your dried flowers will last almost forever!
