Known as miscanthus, elephant grass or even Chinese reed, all these names refer to this soft, fluid herbaceous plant that makes your designs beautiful and unique. In a vase alone or with other dried or stabilised plants, Miscanthus will dress up your interior with simplicity. But Miscanthus is also an excellent choice for larger projects. It can be assembled into beautiful flowering arches, table decorations or large-scale wall decorations. Miscanthus is also very popular for DIY creations because of its special leaves. It is a strong and elegant element in flowering bells and flasks. Miscanthus is a very special plant that enhances the look of a creation. Miscanthus can be combined with foliage such as palm spear or other pampas to create original and aesthetic designs. It can also be combined with soft stabilised dried flowers like dried statice, dried delphinium or stabilised flowering limonium.

General recommendations

Stabilised plants are 100% natural. They can only be exposed inside. They require no maintenance, no watering and no special light. They keep their freshness and flexibility for several years. A few tips to keep your stabilised plants looking fresh:

  • Handle the plants with care and delicacy (natural plants are therefore fragile).
  • Avoid rooms with a relative humidity of over 80%. Use these products in interiors where the temperature is not lower than 10°C.
  • Avoid sudden fluctuations in temperature.
  • Avoid placing stabilised plants directly in front of air conditioning.
