Description

Plumosum is a flower native to South Africa, belonging to the Proteaceae family. The plant is distinguished by its long, pointed leaves and the colourful bracts that surround the small flowers in the centre. The bracts of the leucadendron can be of different colours, from green to red, pink, yellow and orange, making it a popular flower for interior design projects. Stabilized Leucadendron is a version of this flower that has been subjected to a special process to preserve its beauty and texture for a long period of time. The stabilisation process keeps the plant in a natural, long-lasting state without any maintenance. This means that preserved plumosum can be used in long-term interior design projects, such as permanent floral arrangements, wall installations and centrepieces. Stabilised Leucadendron is also very versatile and can be combined with other flowers and foliage to create spectacular and original floral arrangements. For a simple and modern design you can combine it with natural dried palm spear, stabilised eucalyptus, or white mini pampas grass. For a more colourful decoration, choose pink dried lagurus and yellow stabilised gypsophila. It is often used in modern, minimalist floral arrangements, where its geometric shapes and bright colours add a touch of sophistication to the interior design.

General recommendations

Stabilised plants are 100% natural. They can only be exposed inside. They require no maintenance, no watering and no special light. They keep their freshness and flexibility for several years. A few tips to keep your stabilised plants looking fresh:

  • Handle the plants with care and delicacy (natural plants are therefore fragile).
  • Avoid rooms with a relative humidity of over 80%. Use these products in interiors where the temperature is not lower than 10°C.
  • Avoid sudden fluctuations in temperature.
  • Avoid placing stabilised plants directly in front of air conditioning.
