Description

The stabilised gardenia, a flower that is similar to a stabilised rose but larger and with more relaxed petals. Its corolla has large petals with wavy edges and crumpled at their junction. From the family Rubiaceae, which has between 60 and 250 species, the gardenia jasminoid is the most common. It is widely cultivated in China for decorative purposes. In the Phocealys catalogue, we offer this preserved flower in a very pure white similar to that of the star jasmine. The colour is one of the most pure in our range of stabilised flowers and is therefore very easy to combine with more colourful flowers such as the stabilised carnation or the stabilised chrysanthemum. With no stems and measuring between 5 and 7cm in diameter and 5cm in length, the Gardenia will add a touch of finesse to your stabilised creations, for example in a plant frame. It is an excellent piece that can be used as the main element of an interior composition. Its Japanese origin has given it its class and modernity. It can now shine soberly accompanied, or serve as an accompaniment to other more colourful flowers for your clients' interior decorations. Its very soft and luminous colour can also be used for a distinguished event such as a wedding.

General recommendations

Stabilised plants are 100% natural. They can only be exposed inside. They require no maintenance, no watering and no special light. They keep their freshness and flexibility for several years. A few tips to keep your stabilised plants looking fresh:

  • Handle the plants with care and delicacy (natural plants are therefore fragile).
  • Avoid rooms with a relative humidity of over 80%. Use these products in interiors where the temperature is not lower than 10°C.
  • Avoid sudden fluctuations in temperature.
  • Avoid placing stabilised plants directly in front of air conditioning.
