Preserved carthamus are Mediterranean plants that are quite similar to thistles. At Phocealys, they are preserved naturally to ensure their extraordinary longevity. The term carthamus comes from the Arabic qurtus which means "to dye". The flower is indeed recognized for its dyeing virtues which result from its very intense yellow or ochre color. We propose two shades of this plant to delight your most beautiful bouquets. The orange will bring a very solar aspect to your creations. The almost coarse roundness of the flower will be very perceptible and will also bring a rustic and rough side to the decoration. On the other hand, the white, which turns green to gold, will focus the eye on the rather singular shape of the plant. Quite short and thick, it will bring volume in the width to your creations while being easily mitigated by other flowers or leaves with very bright colors. Native to Italy, safflower easily conveys an air of the Tuscan countryside, slightly reminiscent of French Provence. In addition to bringing color and volume to your creations, preserved safflower is a flower with character. Its large flowers with slightly thorny leaves make it an almost geometric plant with obtuse angles. You can easily put it in a vase with more rounded edges to break this angular geometry. Placing this vase on a piece of furniture or a table will be the best way to modernize the room by honoring the safflower

Stabilised plants are 100% natural. They can only be exposed inside. They require no maintenance, no watering and no special light. They keep their freshness and flexibility for several years. A few tips to keep your stabilised plants looking fresh:
- Handle the plants with care and delicacy (natural plants are therefore fragile).
- Avoid rooms with a relative humidity of over 80%. Use these products in interiors where the temperature is not lower than 10°C.
- Avoid sudden fluctuations in temperature.
- Avoid placing stabilised plants directly in front of air conditioning.
